Tourism New Zealand, VARIOUS PROJECTS, DIGITAL ARTS NETWORK
NewZealand.com is Tourism New Zealand's primary tool for reaching domestic and international markets. My role on this team was diverse. From concepting and ideation for new gallery and information modules, user testing, to highly crafted visual designs.
Through this work I have gained skills in educating international visitors about New Zealand, our landscape, our culture, and how to navigate. I have learned about information funnels, marketing, and browser development. With Tourism New Zealand Business Events, I have created newsletters, and on user guides to help local businesses utilise the site.
ANZ bank, VARIOUS PROJECTS, DIGITAL ARTS NETWORK
I have been on several large service design projects for ANZ throughout my time at Digital Arts Network. Following the process from the discovery phase through to deliverables, the experience with this client has grown my skills immensely. In this discovery phase, we first prepare and conduct user interviews to find out what the user needs are along the journey we are working on. Along with research and benchmarking, these inform the direction we shall take the solution.
Workshops are also used in the stage to bring out ideas from a wider group, and align stakeholders. From here we present our discovery by way of customer journey maps, or findings documents. Following through to the design stage, we carry what we have learnt into sketching and prototyping, which we soon get in front of users for feedback. The final product can be either a concept prototype, or a high finish design.
Examples of work limited due confidentiality.

FIRST AID ARMY, 2013
In the first moments after a disaster it is essential to take decisive action.
During a civil defense emergency, overloaded response systems and infrastructure disruptions block vital response. We need to increase community resilience in disaster situations.
The First Aid Army app and recruitment program is working on this. First Aid Army connects qualified First Aiders with people who need immediate attention in their local area.
By pairing those who need help with qualified assistance, we provide relevance and engagement for kiwis to take first aid courses and keep their skills current.
